Liverpool Football Club is calling on all supporters to take part in a new global survey as part of its most in-depth, independent fan review.

Fans can share their views by completing the survey, which will be available until Thursday December 22, 2016.

External research specialists Populus will conduct the research, which aims to assess what's working well and what's important to our fans, as well as identifying areas that can be improved to further develop an open dialogue.

Populus began the research process last month, meeting with key stakeholders, fan groups, journalists and representatives from the club's official Supporters' Committee. Once the fan survey is completed, all of the results will be collated and the issues that our supporters care about will be ranked in order of importance.

Susan Black, director of communications at the club, added: “This is an important piece of research that is being undertaken by the club in partnership with Populus. We want to connect with as many of our fans from across the world as possible to help capture a wide range of information that will be used to shape key decisions on future fan engagement.”

While the review is taking place, the Supporters' Committee will continue to meet with the club on a day-to-day basis and fans should continue to directly contact members with any feedback.

The next Supporters' Committee meeting is scheduled for Sunday January 22 and the minutes will be published on the LFC website, as normal, for fans to read.

A summary of the global fan survey results will be published on the club's website next year.
