LFC’s Red Neighbours team got into the Christmas spirit last week as they embarked on a day of carol singing around Anfield.

Along with eight LFC staff volunteers, Red Neighbours visited five local care homes and community centres throughout the day.

Over 140 Anfield residents joined in with the festive fun as the singers visited Venmore Community Care Centre, Scouse in the House at Christ Church, Bob Paisley Court, Libberton Court and Abbey Lawns Nursing Home.

During the winter months, the main focus of the Red Neighbours team is the issue of social isolation, with many events and activities taking place in the local community to combat loneliness and seclusion among residents.
