Liverpool trio Jayden Danns, Trey Nyoni and Amara Nallo helped England U18s to a 2-1 win over Czechia in the U18 Pinatar Super Cup on Wednesday.
All three Reds were named on the bench by head coach Tom Curtis at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia for the opening game of the Young Lions’ triple-header in Spain.
First-half goals from Samuel Amo-Ameyaw and Tyrique George handed England an advantage at the interval, before Czechia pulled a goal back ahead of the hour mark.
Danns completed a little under half an hour of the contest in the second period, while Nyoni was called upon with 18 minutes remaining and Nallo for the final 13 minutes of the contest.
The Young Lions will next be in action on March 22 (kick-off 12pm GMT) when they take on Germany at Pinatar Arena.
