Genk forward Leon Bailey's Premier League suitors are considering bids for before the transfer deadline.

The highly-rated winger was expected to leave Belgium for one of Europe’s top leagues at the end of the season.

But the process is accelerating after Roma and Bayer Leverkusen intimated that they are ready to launch £20million bids this month.

Lyon and Nice are also keen on Bailey.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and Bournemouth have all registered an interest in the 19-year-old forward - but were expecting to wait until the summer to make their move.

However, the English sides are ready to swoop for the Jamaican this month to ensure they don’t miss out.

Genk are keen to hang onto Bailey, but would consider an offer that would see their talented teen stay in Belgium before leaving ahead of next season.
