Timo Werner has ruled out a summer move to Liverpool or Bayern Munich.

RB Leipzig striker Werner had been touted for a move to the two European giants - with Tottenham a long-term admirer.

He claims he wants to continue his development out of the limelight with highly-rated boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

"I want to keep growing together with RB Leipzig and keep developing here," the striker told Welt am Sonntag.

"I am still only 21 years old and still have plenty of years ahead of me.

"I am very happy at Leipzig. Joining this club has been a stroke of luck. I have found my way again under Ralph Hasenhuttl."

Werner only joined the Bundesliga surprise package last summer in an £8m switch from Stuttgart.

He was called up to the Germany senior squad for the first time last week and could make his debut against England on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old has netted 14 times in 24 appearances to put Leipzig just 10 points behind runaway leaders Bayern.

He has bags of energy and regularly plays in a high press style similar to that one used by Klopp at Anfield.

Liverpool are also allegedly looking at Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita and winger Emil Forsberg, who have also shone this season.
