Liverpool and Manchester United are set to battle it out for the signature of Brazilian sensation Luan this summer.

The Gremio attacker’s agent is actively seeking a big-money move for his client that has led to unrest from the club’s supporters.

Luan has been branded a mercenary and witnessed his car being bombarded with popcorn in a supporters protest against his Brazilian club.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester are all interested in his services and could look to take advantage of Luan’s need to leave Gremio.

The Brazilian outfit don’t want to sell their star but the supporter’ growing unrest may force club officials to cash in on him in the transfer window.

Vice president Alberto Guerra admits they will consider offers if their price-tag is met.

He said: “Every good player is targeted. If a proposal arrives we will analyse it.”

Luan can play anywhere across the front three and is considered Brazil’s most valuable export since Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Barbosa both completed big-money moves last year.
