Boost for Klopp in Gabriel Barbosa pursuit
Gabriel Barbosa’s agent has given Arsenal and Liverpool hope of signing the Inter Milan forward in the summer transfer window.
Gabriel joined Inter for a fee of around £26million last August but the 20-year-old has only one goal in eight appearances since moving to the San Siro from Santos.
It’s understood both Arsenal and Liverpool were monitoring Gabigol’s situation at Inter back in January and the striker’s agent, Wagner Ribeiro, has sent a message to potential suitors.
"Gabriel is an Inter player," Ribeiro told Tuttomercatoweb.
"When we chose this club we signed a contract until 2021, and there were no specific clauses included guaranteeing obligatory minutes, let alone a starting spot.
"He’s happy in Milan, he’ll fight for more space.
"Could he leave in June? I don’t know, the future is in God’s hands, not mine."
