There is no agreement in place for Julian Brandt to move to Bayern Munich in the summer, according to the attacker’s father.

Reports in Germany claimed the deal was in place and that Brandt had turned down several offers from other clubs, including Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp is believed to have tried to sign Brandt in the January transfer window and Brandt’s father insisted the winger was still up for grabs.

"It’s a hoax," Brandt senior told Kicker.

"Julian was never in a situation to have to make a decision. Accordingly he hasn’t decided."

He added: "There isn’t any trend nor any agreement. Julian will speak to Leverkusen about the season and his future in the summer."

Brandt has attracted the attentions of some of Europe’s biggest clubs after three consistent seasons at Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite the fact he is still only 20, Brandt has supplied 17 goals 20 assists since the 2014-15 season.

Jürgen, Brandt’s father, admitted there was interest from several clubs, but insisted he was the one making the decisions for his son.

"There have been enquiries from Bayern as well as others — but only to me," he said.

"I collect these but there’s nothing concrete yet."

He added: "Julian hasn’t made any decision as to his future yet.

"He hasn’t spoken with any of those responsible at Bayern such as [Karl-Heinz] Rummenigge, [Uli] Hoeness or [Michael] Reschke, nor has he spoken to [Carlo] Ancelotti."
