Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams.

That’s according to La Liga expert Guillem Balague.

The Spanish attacker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer with Liverpool keeping tabs on him.

But Balague believes his £42m buyout clause is putting European suitors off making a move.

“He was followed by Liverpool and has a €50m buyout clause,” Balague told Sky Sports.

“I’m not sure any team would be willing to pay that right now because he has not proved that valuation.

“He is in no rush but he is certainly looking abroad should he move.”

Jurgen Klopp is thought to be on the lookout for fresh options in attack when the transfer window opens.

And at 22 years of age Williams has already been tipped for a bright future.

Williams has netted 13 goals in all competitions for Bilbao this season, helping his side to sixth in the table.

But Bilbao are determined to keep hold of their star striker and will push for a huge price should Liverpool come knocking.
