Liverpool are reported to be lining up a double swoop on Hull City with defenders Andrew Robertson and Harry Maguire the targets.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to tighten up a defence that has leaked far too many goals this season, and the duo have emerged as targets after impressing despite a campaign of struggle for the Tigers.

Hull could be relegated this afternoon if they lose to Crystal Palace, but they will struggle to keep hold of both players even if they pull off the great escape.

Klopp has put a new left back high on his wanted list as James Milner has been playing out of position, and Robertson could be the man to step in, while it is also well known that a new central defender is also wanted.

Virgil van Dijk and Michael Keane have both been linked, but Maguire, who is also wanted by Tottenham and Everton, could be an alternative option for the Liverpool boss.
